Who Is Eligible?

· Hold a first university degree (equivalent of a 4-year bachelor's or undergraduate degree)

· Have a minimum of five years of full-time professional experience beyond your undergraduate degree, prior to the program start

· Recent university graduates, even with significant positions

· University teachers or researchers with no management responsibilities

· Individuals with dual U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident status

· Individuals who have attended a U.S. graduate school for one academic year or more in the past five to seven years

Step 1: Check Your Country's Deadline

Deadlines vary by country. For the 2027-2028 cycle, many deadlines fall in July 2026. Always check your local U.S. Embassy or Fulbright Commission's website.
